Bad trends

research based on my observations of bad clothing in barnsley mostly

here i tried to remember as many bad trends as possible, most of them were taken directly from my comprehensive school.

 i gathered examples of bad trends id collected in photographs and notes, also some aliens 'gettin' down'

 i took to the internet and delved further into the realm of bad trends, researching the history of the most potently bad trends id thought of, i found a product called 'Winkers' which must be seen to be believed

 the rise and fall of the Dappy hat, with pictures of Dappy himself

 observed studies of terrible jackets

 all-in-one atrocties: the onesie and the shellsuit

 observed tracksuits

 the dreaded history of 'Crocs'

 the curse of the Fedora

Here I developed a project plan of making comic strips about Barnsley as it proved my most popular part of research in the crit, it was to be called "will tha gee'or" and probably full of funny strips about the horrors of Barnsley town centre, or potentially written in Barnsley dialect

Later I dispelled this idea as it would go one of two ways: a snobby hateful sneer at ones hometown, or a yorkshire pride ain't it great up north comic about how very hilrious northerners are.. and these two tones are things I want to steer very clear of at any time, so i scrapped the whole thing and went back to my research for inspiration
