Done some sketchies.
I was on the train so I could only remember at last clearest blue and imagine.
These are my plans

Secret 7" Brief

I'm going to do some Secret 7" designs this year
They will form part of the brief to redesign the covers of homemade albums
It's just a whole big album cover thing

So these are the songs this year

John Lennon - Imagine
Max Richter - Dream 3
Tame Impala - Less I Know the Better

I'll have a crack at them all but it's part of the other brief so I might just do a few

Sketchbook today

I've been doing some nice fun drawing
Working with Eddy Greggy in preparation for Macmillan
Nice drawings this time, while I'm still hot on traditional mixed media from cop
So frequently the heady leggy drawings are scrappy so I'm working on the visual aspect at the minute
After that I can get the story down
I already have part of it planned though, which is where the bird song I've written goes
See I figure he sings about everything and that should translate into the stories
So he gets fascinated with birds at some point
Sings about how he'd like to be one
then they grab onto the foot of one which amicably takes them for a ride, defying gravity and science

 

 I like how these drawings are going at this stage, this may be the process I develop into my final aesthetic for the book/cartoon/whatever this ends up being.

 

Workshop and Updates

These are my intentions for the next two weeks.
I mostly need to figure out what I want to do with myself
And I think instead of reading all my books I should focus on reading library books because I won't have access to that soon.

I updated my statement to a more module specific one, the below is the original one which essentially remains my overarching goal.

These are my updated briefs
I dropped film posters and editorial for musical comics and the carmelite prize because they seemed more relevant to what I want to do and have more focus and purpose than making editorial and posters that no one asked for.

Part of me feels like theres not enough though, I may change my mind when I get started on them all, who knows
